A Cultural Champion is an individual who advocates and communicates the value and benefits of the arts and culture. The Arts and Cultural Development Office (ACDO) has set up a Cultural Champions Programme to enable individuals with a passion for the arts to help share that passion and spread the word.

A Cultural Champion may be anyone from a CEO to an arts student who is empowered and informed enough to put forward a case for the arts and culture. They may serve the arts community by campaigning for the arts, raising public awareness about the benefits of the arts, and developing an advocacy network, among many other things.
